Jamie Gallagher

Mr. Gallagher is of Counsel to The Madison Group. Mr. Gallagher has a proven reputation and brings his clients an in-depth knowledge on national security matters and international affairs and a consistent track record of solving difficult and challenging issues.
Mr. Gallagher was Vice President at Boland & Madigan, Inc., part of the Cassidy Companies group of government and public relations firms. Mr. Gallagher represented a range of Fortune 500 clients, trade associations, state and local entities, and foreign governments and provided them with substantive expertise and strategic guidance.
Prior to joining Boland & Madigan, Inc., Mr. Gallagher served as Administrative Assistant (AA) to Senator Judd Gregg of New Hampshire, Ranking Member of the Budget Committee and a senior member of the Appropriations Subcommittees on Defense and Foreign Operations. Mr. Gallagher was the Senator’s chief legislative advisor, supervised his Washington, D.C. staff and was the Senator’s liaison to the House and Senate Leadership. Mr. Gallagher also served as the Senator’s Legislative Director prior to becoming AA.
During his tenure with Senator Gregg, Mr. Gallagher assisted in the development of legislation on national security, foreign policy, international trade, refugees and U.S. Agency for International Development reform issues. Mr. Gallagher also was Senator Gregg’s chief spokesman and liaison to the Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission.
Prior to his service with Senator Gregg, Mr. Gallagher was Director of Congressional Affairs for the Presidentially-appointed Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission. Mr. Gallagher was the senior liaison to the Senate, House of Representatives, and to state and local officials. He coordinated the Commission’s public review process, including nationwide hearings and base visits.
Before joining the Commission, Mr. Gallagher was Senior Policy Analyst for national security and foreign policy issues at the House Republican Study Committee. He has traveled extensively throughout Africa and Latin America and has authored numerous policy papers on international political and economic affairs matters.
Mr. Gallagher was graduated from the American University with Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in International Affairs. He is married with two children.
